Princess's path to entrepreneurship was driven by her passion for service and her commitment to addressing gaps in her community. As a public health nurse, she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by marginalized groups, including a lack of access to essential health services and resources. One recurring theme stood out: a longing for cultural food. Recognizing the vital role culture plays in overall well-being, Princess decided to create a space where people could access not only fresh and frozen ethnic foods but also prepared meals that evoke the flavors of home.

Her decision to establish the Midwest Farmers Market was further inspired by her belief in empowering her community. By providing access to cultural foods, she aims to improve health outcomes and foster a sense of belonging.
